Dash will soon be launching its Dash-Wallet for customers and retailers

Visa, Master Card and other companies are planning to increase the fees on Credit and Debit Card to merchant when a customer uses their card for the transaction. This news was officially announced on 15 February by The Wall Street Journal. The anomalous increase in fee will focus customer on Dash-Wallet. This increase in fees of Debit and credit card will put pressure on many retailers. The fees to the merchant have classified in two groups; “inter charge fees” paid by the merchant to the card issuer or to bank and “fees that card network charges financial institution for processing card payment by merchant”. It is estimated that about 66 billion Dollar was made as a transaction fee, which is about 77% more than that of the year 2012. While the merchant charges an extra 1% to 2% extra on card transaction if the fees on Credit and Debit Card will increase, common people also have to suffer from this problem.

Fees becoming obsolete

Increasing fees is increasing the load on retailers but the fee will be obsolete with the increasing demand for technology. Cryptocurrency is reducing the fees to zero, even if the third party is involved fees are very minimal. Dash charges transaction fees of $0.0003 per standard transaction which is very less as compared to the fees introduced by Visa and Mastercard on credit and Debit card. And in a few days, it is expected that dash will make transaction faster by 2 seconds. These facilities will force the customer and retailers to move to Dash wallet.

Other than transaction fees and saving a fraction of seconds, there are other benefits of using Dash. One such advantage is merchant doesn’t have to pay any chargeback since, when a customer challenges payment, rightful or not, the merchant will not always get the cost of product reimbursed by the card processor. They have to pay only the processing fees to their customer. Customers will not be charged extra money for any failed transaction. The biggest advantage of using dash for both customers and retailer is maintaining privacy and censorship since other companies can easily track customers and retailer information as well as deny any service when they wish to. Dash is working to make payment user-friendly with the Dash wallet so that everyone can make the transaction. This advantage will help the retailer and customer to adapt cryptocurrency over Visa and master card.

Difficulties Dash has to overcome

Although Dash is providing many benefits to customers and retailer, it cannot be denied that Dash still has volatility and usability issue. However, Dash is making maximum effort to break these barriers. Dash is very close to evolution and cash wallet. Dash is converting its cryptographic address to Username.
