The Type Of Woman I Want To Be

When I was young, my parents all always told me to be the woman that brings light to a lot of lives. I know for a fact I didn't understand it back then, but now... I think I know what they meant. With the advancement of technology it got easier to discover a lot of brave and wonderful women who never fail to inspire the youth.

Politicians, artists, doctors, media influencers, entrepreneurs, scientists and down the endless list, we find women who inspire us in a million ways. Amongst all the women that inspire me, there is one person who not only sets an example but also makes me feel like ' even if I become half the woman she is..I'd be successful.' Now I know, she is exactly the type of lady my parents told me to be. The light !!

I found her on a social media platform, when a really close friend of mine suggested to follow her. Dear best friend, thankyou. I'm so grateful that I know her now. By profession she is an entrepreneur and a social media influencer but apart from that ...She's a girl that wears her heart on her sleve, spreads love in a way that it touches lives. Her messages to people that she gives through her social media posts could change the gloom to a smile. She has shown me that it's in the little things we do, lies the beauty of life.

I'm not a great writer I know, but I feel too poor when I have to put such a great and wonderful personality into words that can't exceed a limit. Yet again, she inspires me, it's the smaller steps that lead to a bigger ones.

I'm definitely not able to express the utmost respect and admiration I hold for you in my heart. You have inspired and reassured me about a lot of things. I may have loved myself for a long time, but I learnt what is self acceptance from you. I may have dreamt a lot about how I want my life to be, but you've shown me how I should get there. You've taught me what is love, infact reassured that love is still a beautiful entity. You've showed me the way to see the world differently. This article still does not do justice to the volumes of shine you hold. You are an incredible person whose value I can't speak enough of.
