"Life is a race... if you don't run fast, you will be a broken undaa," said Viru Sahastri Buddhe in 3 Idiots.
Well... it's true. If you don't run fast, you will definitely be a 'broken egg' - that is an important lesson. But there is no harm in being a 'broken egg' is a more important lesson. People who are facing rejection should stay strong, have patience and keep their minds calm. Things may be going wrong in our lives at present, but one should always remember that nothing lasts forever. Rejection will turn into approval and depression will gradually change into happiness. The important part is that we should not lose ourselves in this rejection, we should not get dejected and stop trying. Any rejection, be it in a job interview or a marriage proposal, should never break our spirit to try harder and achieve better.
"Am I not good enough?" is the question we tend to ask ourselves after getting rejected. Why so? Why do people tend to question their competence? If we lose faith in us, then how can we expect some other person to trust our abilities. Self-worth is a thing which should never be underestimated. People are getting depressed after getting rejected in various places, but instead of dealing with depression, one should focus on making themselves better than they presently are. I mean, why not? Why stop eating because someone did not value you? Why stop searching because some company did not hire you? Are there no better people in the world? Are there no better companies? Yes, there are. Putting up a "Good Vibes Only" poster on our walls won't help us. We need to let that negative energy out of our lives. We need to do whatever it takes to let that bad time go. Meditating, eating, sleeping, vacationing - whatever it takes. But we need to do it soon and prevent ourselves from breaking down... after all, who knows that a better opportunity is not knocking our door?
Just hang in there... Tough times will pass... As they say, the sun will shine on us again, make sure to open all the doors and windows to let that sunlight come in and brighten up our lives!
