What Is Artificial Intelligence And It's Applications?

Before actually knowly what is Artificial Intelligence , we must what intelligence means ?Well according to me , Intelligence is the computational part of the ability to achieve goals in the world. Varying kinds and degrees of intelligence occur in people, many animals and some machines.

On the other hand, Artificial Intelligence is the science and engineering of making intelligent machines, especially intelligent computer programs. It is related to the similar task of using computers to understand human intelligence, but AI does not have to confine itself to methods that are biologically observable.

AI is a collection of hard problems which can be solved by humans and other living things, but for which we don’t have good algorithms for solving.

For this purpose we have to makea program that acts like human, Thinks like human as well as acts or thinks rationally (logically, correctly).

There are various Applications of Artificial Intelligence as follows:

1. ROBOTICS:

We can just program a robot model in such a way that it can think like humans , act like humans and perform all the activities that it is programmed for. This is what is the power of Artificial Intelligence.

2.SEARCH ENGINES:

You might have noticed that whenever you search for a particular thing at any search engine like google , whenever you type a particular word at it , it automatically completes your sentence about what you are searching for and hence it shows the related content. You are never required to write the complete sentence while searching. This is another important application of Artificial Intelligence.

3.GAME PLAYING:

As we all know that whenever we play any particular game on a mobile phone or PC , we never play alone , it is AI robots that play with us as second player.

4.AUTOMOBILES:

It’s a well-established fact thatGoogle’s Driverless carsfeatures have already paved their way towards the introduction of AI in automobiles. Whether it’s self-parking, detecting collision, blind spot monitoring, voice recognition, or navigation, it’s almost like the car is acting as an assistant to the owner and teaching different ways of a safe driving.

The most common application of AI can be seen in our mobile phones in the form of Virtual Personal Assistants.Siri, Cortana, and Google Noware some very commonly used digital assistants that are found in iOs, Android and Windows phones.

It can answer to any of your questions like what are the best places to visit in Singapore? or you may ask to play music or open applications . These virtual Assistant are simply the replacement of human.
