Pubg: The Game And Its Origin

In the modern era, the gaming world has expanded and enriched to a greater level. With new high tech graphic games and new updated gaming apps , gaming has really become a trend and craze for generation Y. A game has spread like a wildfire and had gained immense popularity in Indian as well as the world context :- which is Player's Unknown Battlegrounds, which generally referred to as PUBG.

PUBG is an online multiplayer battle royale game. This game has been produced by PUBG corporation and a South Korean video game company known as Bluehole. This game was created by Brendan Greene. His idea of creating this game was inspired from a Japanese film released in the year 2000, which is Battle Royale.

PUBG was released on March 2017, it also had a full version release in December, 2017. In the same month the game was released by X box 1 and X box game preview. By then this revolutionary game had created a strong fan base. It was even released in Playstation 4.

PUBG got positive reviews, even though it has several technical flaws The game recieved 'Game of the year ' nomination several times. This shows the game progress though it has been a short while of its release in the market.

Player's Unknown Battlegrounds is a player versus player shooter game in which up to one hundred player fight in a battle. This type of games are known as royale type - where there is last man standing large scale death match. The players can play in different modes like Solo, Duo and small team of 4 people. The game is played in 4 maps ,three of which are 8X6 km (5X5miles), 6X6 km (3.7X3.7miles) and 4X4 km(2.5X2.5miles). These maps are generally of ghost towns where the player has to play from the first person shooter or the third person shooter perspective. They players have to gather weapons, vehicles , armours and other equipments which are available in the abondoned houses and they have to fight the battle.

Brendan Greene a.k.a 'Player's Unkown' created other games like Day Z and was very much influenced from his childhood game Delta Force to create PUBG. This game has its bulk of player base in Asian countries. China has this game's biggest player base and it is the most popular online game in the south east Asian country, India. Thus, PUBG is on its path of becoming the invincible online game and the game with largest fan base.
