Love vs lust - two different things which are often complicated. At times, it gets difficult to differentiate the two emotions. Both feel exciting and blissful. But they are most definitely not the same. It is important to know the difference between the two. Lust is an intense physical attraction whereas love is a combination of affection and care. It's profound and caring attraction that forms an emotional attachment.
It is possible to mistakenly consider feelings of lust for love. Everything depends on how perfect you think your mate is. If you think your mate is perfect, have got nothing wrong, everything bright and shiny then it is certainly lust. Whereas in love, you know your mate has got some flaws but you choose to love them and be with them anyway. You also try to correct them.
In lust, physical attraction takes the lead but in love, that isn't the case. How deep your conversations go decide which emotion are you on. Lust is all about present moment, the attention you receive, the fun you have. But then a time comes when everything fades. Love is about present and future. It's a wanting to have the person by your side through highs and lows, thick and thin. Another thing which differentiates the two is the connection. Lust may see you wanting to forge a deeper connection one-on-one with your mate. If its love, you will want those important people in your life, to love your mate as well.
Love is about commitment and communication. Both these factors lead to stability. The feeling of lust is conditional. One may not agree but then there is more respect in love than in lust. It isn't the case that lust is wrong, but then there lies nothing lookalike for love.
