We all have learnt about pollution in our schooling. But what actually are we doing to reduce it to the minimum levels possible?

This article helps you to take your part in being a good human to the nature just by imbibing few habits to your daily routine.

1. Advice your moms or aunts to cut the corner of a milk packet in a way that the small piece of milk packet isn't completely seperated from the packet. By doing so, we can avoid those small pieces of plastic mixing with garbage. Small plastic pieces can't be recycled when scattered.

For example, Hyderabad has a population of 60 lakhs. So on an approximate level, we can stop around 15-20 lakhs of small plastic pieces per day from mixing with garbage.

2. Bored of hearing from people to plant a sapling on your birthday? I found many people just planting and leaving it on its way. Instead just water the plants nearby your residence atleast once in a three days. If you are staying with your family, you can actually take shifts to water the plants accordingly. Also you can burn few calories by doing these kind of activities.

'Vruksho rakshathi rakshithaha' - 'Protect the trees, they will protect you in return.'

3. Many of us know it but only a few actually look forward to reduce the pollution through bikepooling/carpooling. If you are really aware of these and also the additional benefits it has, you certainly aren't going to overlook this opportunity.

Are you frustrated with the traffic? You can mitigate this frustration by half if you just share your ride with another mate belonging to same locality who is your colleague or takes the same route to office. You are saving a lot of pennies which is a real tough job for today's younger generation. Most importantly, you get the opportunity to increase your network by collaborating with new people which is indeed a great thing.

We should also keep an eye on creating new and innovative methods to save the resources we have today for our next generations.

Let us join hands in preserving this beautiful nature in the most easy way possible.
