Hip Hop In India

Hip Hop has lately been on trending in India mostly because of the movie Gully Boy and also how rapping has really started to broadcast itself in India. Hip Hop is not widely listened to and mostly concentrates on the mainstream game. Most people try to avoid this genre just because of the presence of explicit content. I obviously cannot deny this fact but these artists comprise mostly of lyrical rappers who tell stories through their raps which comes in the same wavelength of that of the poetry.

This industry also has a lot inside too as for in the case of racism. Rap industry has made the air clear for them and hence that's how the casual racism's ending had the rap industry as a part of it. People who have tried writing might know how tough it is to write a song and how more difficult it becomes if it's rap. Even if they get the writing part right,they have still left the part out where they have to spit it through their own mouth and it does not seem to be easy neither nor is it easy. It's a lot these artist's that produce this have been coming through and they talk about how despite of the hardwork they do they do not get the accurate results. Then there are people who can talk about anything,they say stories which are either long forgotten or unsaid.

Rap is basically poetry in which people use curses inorder to explain that particular situation in the most impactful manner. Hip Hop has given it's listeners whatever they've asked for and whatever they have needed. It doesn't soothe people,they say but unless you get to know this genre, don't be judgemental. There are types ofmusic within this hip hop genre itself which do soothe our minds if that's what you've been looking for. But for me,a song should comprise of three things-good lyrics,an awesome beat and a story which goes with it. Once people get to know this genre, I am pretty sure that no one could resist it because that's the amount of artists present in this industry. If you can't go with the particulars of an artist then you've got more than enough to choose.

Eventhough people say that Eminem has aged out and all,I personally feel that the older albums made by Eminem are definitely a piece which can get you hooked to this genre. This decade has been going very well for the hip hop industry as a lot of new rappers started to pop up and albums like Imperial,Dicaprio 2,Ta13oo,To Pimp a Butterfly,Flower Boy and more albums said stories in the best way possible. Taboo by Denzel Curry would remain in my top ten forever because that's how poetic it is. Good kid,maad city by Kendrick became so influencing and popular that scholars have been studying it. Most of India hasn't still yet discovered the industry and still be judgemental about it which made me bound to write this article.
