Everything changes with time. But what matters to us is that are we changing with the time? Are we moving forward in our life? Are we accepting new challenges and new people in our life happily? You stay physically in present but mentally at the past. When you live in past you miss enjoying the present.

This is all about the state of our mind. What do we think? Where do we stay in past or present? Many of us are still living in our past, living a life full of nostalgia. The memories of the past sometimes avoid us to recreate the good present. The bad experiences of the past distract us. It is a human tendency to compare everything. We compare our past to the present. If the past was full of unpleasant happenings and miseries, we keep thinking about that time only. We miss the chance to make the present and future better.

Also if our past was full of happiness and in present we are facing some challenges we begin the comparison again.The man is never satisfied with what he has. We should let go off the past and live in present. The worry is simply a waste of time.

We should invest time in recreating present which has been deteriorated by overthinking.The past overwhelms over the present. We should not dwell in the past.

You know where you stay. Are you still living in the past? The past memories are ruling your life. You are responsible for what you have.

Another reason you should leave the past behind you is that it may not be as you remember it. The mind can play tricks on us, and our memories may not be as clear as we think they are. You may also have misunderstood what really happened.

Few people are angry because of the past. They blame others for what happened to them and constantly complain of the wrongs done to them. They may or may not be right about what happened, but holding on to bitterness leaves you anchored in the past and makes you none too pleasant to be around.

We should learn forgiving others. We must not get stuck in bad memories. Those who did wrong to us must be forgiven. We must not pay attention to useless things. It is not bad to get rid of toxic things. Everything changes with time. We have to move forward in our life. Whatever happens, happens for the best. Life is all about gaining and losing. Let our failures inspire us.

It is not good for our future to carry the burden of sorrow and regrets. Even if the past was better then also going to the past and start living there is pointless. We should learn from our past to live the present fully. Always remember the present is the gift. It's so much better to look forward than backward. You can do something about the future, but the past is impossible to change. Looking forward means that you'll be enjoying the present, and that's a much more productive and enjoyable way to live.

Talking about something that happened in the past doesn't change anything. Comparing current and future people and things to the past doesn't change anything. All it does is bring up bad memories and holds you back from new, better experiences because you're too hung up on that one bad memory or that one person from your past. If your past is holding you back then it is not good for you and it is not contributing to your life in a positive manner so you need to stop carrying it with you.
