Ever since you are born to have you ever tried to figure out the reason behind why you are one amongst the lucky few of behind a left-hander? Or ever figured out why people call you lucky? Is that actually true?

No, the reality is nothing about the magical wonder stick of being a lucky person. It’s just less proportion of people in the world. But, let’s see how this works.

The reason behind your left-handedness is two-fold. One reason is the most common and observant of transmission of chromosomes or through the genetic process following the lineage. The second reason behind it is the imitation, that is copying your parent. It is relevant amongst the adoptive children. Unlike the biological ones, the try to imitate their parents. However, the rate is less compared to that of a biological child.

A German study in 1999showed how in around 292 families a clear vision of positive relationship formed between the left-handedness in parents and their biological children. The study showed that a chance of 9.7 per cent was observed for being a left-hander. But, if both the parents were right-handed, the offspring will have a chance of being a left-hander only 7 per cent. However, if one parent was left-handed, the chance of the offspring being left-handed, too, was 21.4 per cent, more than three times as much as for two right-handed parents.

This Analytical research, however, proved true much more for the biological and genetic parent- children ancestry. Rather than the learning mechanism which proved to be a big failure in the analysis conducted. This might have left you awestruck. But, the very time you fall prey to someone calling you alucky person on earth just let them know they are not distinctive on the basis of fate. As the record of good or bad deeds begins after being born and not just by being a left-hander in the family.
