A gentleman was once visiting a temple under construction. In the temple premises, he saw a sculptor making an idol of God. Suddenly, he saw a few meters away, another identical idol lying. Surprised, he asked the sculptor : "Do you need two idols of the same God ?" . The sculptor replied :"No, we need only one but the first one got damaged at the last stage, so I am making another one".

The gentleman walked upto the other idol and examined it. No apparent damage was visible. "Where is the damage ?" he asked the sculptor. "There is a scratch on the nose" replied the sculptor. "Where are you going to keep the idol?" the gentleman asked. "The idol will be on a pillar 20 feet high",the sculptor replied. "When the idol will be 20 feet away, who is going to know that there is a scratch on the nose ?" the gentleman asked.

The sculptor looked at the gentleman, smiled and said : " The God knows it and I know it"

Yes , the God knows it and you know it. Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. Each and every minute action you do, it may be not noticed by others but God does and your inner self watches it. Your good actions and good deeds must be for your self-satisfaction, so that you reach the peak of happiness and peace. It's not about being who everyone else wants you to be, it's about being yourself.

No matter how successful you are in this world..
No matter how you are living your life..
No matter how different you are..
No matter how you dress..
No matter how you look..
If you are real, genuine and unapolegetically yourself, the right people will respect you. And the wrong people...... well...... they're irrelavant.

There is no substitute for honesty and there is no excuse for dishonesty.
