Gandhi- A Hypocrite

India needs its social figure to preach about non-violence and to brag about how we never took up arms against the British. It was a single man who promoted the ideology of non-violence and changed the hearts of the British and won freedom for our nation. What if everything you were taught to believe was completely false? The great Mahatma Gandhi is no one but a huge hypocrite.

Racist

Everyone has a darker side (pun intended), and that doesn’t exclude Gandhi. He might be the perfect example of racist the world has ever witnessed. In many of his public, so-called motivational speeches, he has slammed all the Africans as ‘kaffirs' aka the forbidden N-word and made them the subject of his racist jokes. This seemed so irony because it was Africa who put him in the map. It was for Africa, he spent years fighting alongside. Gandhi had the notion that all Africans were barbarians and had disgusting habits and were nothing but mere “animals”.

Minority Appeasement

Gandhi was very favourable to the Muslims. Even though he was a Hindu, he preached Islamic principles and brainwashed people to take up Islam as their religion with his public speeches. This shows that he was an opportunist. He exploited his position among the people of India and urged them to abandon Hinduism. He completely ignored the Muslim outbursts and persuaded the people to ignore them and willing die. He insisted that we are born to die and so we should accept death when people try to kill us. In one of his disgusting speeches, he urged people to stand by and let Muslims rape their sister and let them die “bravely”. Non-violence? I don’t think so. But definitely partiality towards a particular community. After all, he was assassinated for the very reason that he wanted to partition India as half Islam dominated nation.
