Writing is an art and it needs great skills to be a writer. It is not just that we start writing a book and it gets all the attention of the world and suddenly they are in all the places. Like every little thing in this world, writers also start from the beginning and slowly and gradually are remarkable in this big world. World famous writer, J.K Rowling, author of Harry potter, had also a rough beginning to her career. She had been rejected by many publishers before Harry Potter finally released and we all know how marvelous piece of writing it is. There are some writers who stay in our hearts for a long time. Some of the best writers of all times whose books everyone should read are-

1) Shakespeare (1564-1616)

William Shakespeare is said to be the world’s greatest writer in the English language. He is often called “England’s national poet”. Shakespeare has written some of the best tragedies and Othello, Macbeth, Hamlet are known well in the English Literature till now. He has also written sonnets which were the last of Shakespeare’s non dramatic work printed, published in 1609.

2)J.K Rowling

J.K Rowling has lived a life of “rags to riches”. She is best known for her Harry Potter series. She is a philanthropist, novelist, film producer, script writer and television producer. Her other works include The Casual Vacancy, The Cuckoo’s Calling, The Silkworm, Career of Evil and Lethal White.

3) Stephens King

Stephen Edwin King was born on September 21, 1947. He is also called “The king of Horror”. He has published 58 novels and 6 non-fiction books.Some of his short novels are Rage, The Long Walk, The Running Man and Thinner.He has also written two horror novels – The Tailsman and Black House with the novelist Peter Straub.

4) Charles Dickens (7 February 1812- 9 June 1870)

Charles John Huffam Dickens is regarded as one of the greatest novelist of the Victorian era. He is known to have created many characters and his books and stories are read even today. His best works include “A Christmas Carol” which is popular even today. Oliver Twist and Great Expectations are his other novels.

5) Agatha Christie (15 September 1890 – 12 January 1976)

Dame Agatha Mary Clarissa Christie, Lady Mallowan is known to have written 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections. She has also written world’s longest running play called The Mousetrap. Guinness world lists her as the best-selling novelist of all time. Her works are ranked at third for world’s most widely published books.
