CHILD LABOUR. Two words that speaks so much about our society.. its malpractices and cruel inhuman behaviour.

Today I was crossing a signal and saw something that left me numb.
A small girl with her hands burned so badly that i could not even see them through my eyes. Her tiny fingers were full of red and black brusses. Barefooted she stood on the middle of the roads and was made to go to each person standing there and sell newspapers.

Her wounds were so deep yet no tears in her eyes. She was just busy in her work as if it was her priority and nothing could stop her from doing it, not even her pain.

After returning home, i was sitting and thinking about what i saw on the way. Not all children in India are lucky to enjoy their childhood. Many of them are forced to work under inhuman conditions where their miseries knows no end.

Though there are laws banning child labour, still children continue to be exploited. It is because the authorities are unable to implement the laws meant to protect children from being engaged into it.

The major cause of child labour can be factors like poverty, lack of social security, the increasing gap between the rich and the poor that drag these children into the deep dark hell. It not only ruin their childhood but also take away the innocense.

Its high time now and government and authorities should take some strict and necessary action to free these little souls from getting exploited...

Its the need of the hour to think aBout them.
