We all will agree to the fact the Cricket is a sport that is actually worshipped in India. It has given us many great players like Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli. The list is endless.

Even though India had a variety of Great Players in different eras, it has won only 2 world cups (1983 and 2011).

World Cup is about to begin and we have seen some phenomenal performances of the Indian Players going to England to represent India for the World Cup, Whether it was Hardik Pandya’s Fastest fifty in the 2019 edition of IPL or Jasprit Bumrah’s consistency with the ball in the death over’s, also one cannot simply ignore the multiple match winning knocks of MS Dhoni even though his team’s average age of players was 34 years old still the team was as competent as any other team.

Even though Virat’s RCB came last there were some match winning knocks played by Virat which showed his aggression and his capability to win the match for his team which is a sign of relief for the Indian Team Fans to see their Captain in form before the World Cup.

If we talk about the openers Shikhar Dhawan is in great form on the other hand Rohit Sharma’s form has been questionable but his abilities as a Captain cannot be questioned as He won the 2019 IPL Trophy, also he is the vice captain so his importance in the team cannot be questioned.

Dinesh Karthik who is going as a backup keeper is a great choice for the position as he has a decent record in batting under pressure and also carries good keeping skills with him. Many questioned his position and suggested Rishabh Pant instead of DK but Pant is not selected because of his keeping skills and that is fair because BCCI would not like to do any kind of compromise for such important tournament. If things go extremely wrong KL Rahul can also keep the wickets, we all know how good he is in batting and fielding.

Also the All rounder section of the team has a lot variety. It is a good mix of experienced players like Kedhar Jadhav and Ravindra Jadeja and young lads like Hardik Pandya and Vijay Shankar.

Most important the Bowling Section, it has been a department of Concern for a very long time. But this time I feel that there is no issue with the bowling department and the players selected are up to the mark whether we talk about the pacers or the wrist spinners there is a lot of diversity and this section should not be a matter of concern for the team.

At last I would say that this is a World Class team which has all the combinations a team requires to be a champion team. The mix of seasoned players and young blood with endless talent is a good choice for the team and India has a very good chance to lift the World Cup with this Team.
