A few of these ancient places in China are:

Huangshan

The history of this place is over 850 years old. It is listed in the Heritage site by UNESCO. Here in this city, you can find old and beautiful Chinese paintings and scenic beauty. Daxu

Dali

Dali is an ancient town has a history of over 1800 years old. It is considered to be one of the most relaxing places in China. In ancient times, it was the political and cultural centre of China's Yunnan region. As a result, it is full of cultural and historical sites.

Pingyao

The city was founded in the 14th century and is a well preserved town in the country. This Ming dynasty has ancient buildings, flagstone streets and villagers who still live like those in ancient times. The village has been developed to a business centre because of its location on the trade route between Beijing and Xian.

Wuzhen water town

This is one of the towns the name of which hasn’t changed even once in 1000 years. Its location is on the meeting of the four cities: Tongxian, Jiaxing, Huzhou and Wujiang. It is often referred to as "Cities of celebrities" as it has nurtured many scholars, Chinese politicians and government officials.

Xian

This is one of the ancient town of China where there is an evident historical vibes. It is known to be one of the most characterful town. Apart, this ancient city is famous for its impeccable qingqiang opera style.
