Skincare Routine:

Step 1: Remove all your makeup.

If you’re wearing makeup then this is the first step that you need to do in your skincare routine. Remove your makeup using makeup wipes or makeup remover on a cotton pad. Do consider your skin type before buying makeup wipes. Another side tip would be clean your makeup brushes and beauty blenders regularly as dirty brushes cause acne and germ build up.

Step 2: Cleanse.

The process I’m mentioning here is a little different from what we usually do, it’s called dry cleaning. Use a face wash that suits for skin type and then apply it on your skin directly. Massage it into your skin, makeup sure you don’t use any water till now. Then, moisten your hands with water and work it into your skin. After this, you need to wash your face completely and say hello to your super cleansed face. Using this technique, you will focus on areas of your face that you usually don’t pay attention to. This is an amazing way to completely clear up your skin.

Step 3: Scrub.

Focus on not using a scrub that is too harsh on your skin or has thick granules as it will minorly tear your skin. The scrub should be used once or twice a week depending on how your skin feels or needs but not more than that. It helps you achieve that deeply cleansed face and will take out all the blackheads and impurities.

Step 4: Mask.

Masks are generally of two types, sheet mask, and clay mask. Most people use clay or mud masks but recently the Korean sheet masks have blown up the market.Masks are usually used once or twice a week depending on your skin requirements. But the sheet masks can be used every day and will be really hydrating.

Step 5: Toner.

It’s a must to use a toner as it tightens the pores. Make sure you use alcohol-free. Don’t use a cotton pad to apply this. Gently pat it in your skin as your skin is already super cleansed. Apply toner as soon as you clean your skin.

Step 6: Serum.

A serum can be applied everyday or when your skin needs it. A vitamin C serum with Hyaluronic acid works amazing. You can try other serums too followed by an eye cream.

Step 7: Moisturiser.

If you are above the age of 25, I would suggest using anti-aging moisturizer for everyday use as it’s important to start early. Again, pick the moisturizer according to your skin type and apply it in motions working against gravity. No matter if you’re an oily skin or dry skin. Moisturiser is a crucial part of skincare.Make sure you take your time and massage it well into your skin. Don't forget the lip balm, them lips need the moisturization too!

After this, you’ll be left with amazing skin. This process might be a little overwhelming but you need to remember that on a daily basis you just have to cleanse, tone and moisturize. Taking care and loving your skin means loving yourself.
