A big curvey decision of life after going to metro cities for career. After you understand the working of operations field and if you come from some technical background, it becomes difficult to understand. Same situation went on with me too. It was a metro city and I came here for my career growth. One day I got a call and was asked to schedule an interview on a fine day. There I went with all my preparations of engineering syllabus. As coming to big cities leaving your family, there was mixed feelings.

On the call no information was shared more than the place was a consultancy. I asked a senior person and he was like this is the way in metro cities, things work. I was relieved to know this and then the day came. I was the new girl in town with hope and at the right place( as of then). There were so many people that I may have too much of competition. After meeting the concern person, I was made to sit for sometime.

People who were already been sitting before me were having some rounds around. I was just observing the things happening, people behaving and the moments like a small girl observing the fast moving world who do not care who you are and what you want. So I felt little comfortable and started talking with people sitting besides me. I still was thinking any technical profile is there and people having it very seriously.

Finally, my name was called out and I was satisfied. First round was aptitude round concentrating on english languages including meanings, opposites, fill ups, comprehensions. I did with great confidence because it was the thing as I prepared. In technical process the same aptitude is included at any IT firm. This test at both places is used to check your english understanding and compatibility. I bagged this round.

The second round was again to write on any given topic with word limitations which was strictly followed. I counted my words and was writing and the write-up was best in all it's terms and conditions. Again, I have been clearing this round. To have a simple command over english was my cup of tea. I was called over face-to-face round with one person, this is the person who hires professionally for bigger companies and works there itself.

He asked me very general questions and I was selected for this position. I came to home and told my uncle about it. He knew what was happening but I was still waiting for my technical work. He allowed to do the night shifts and there were every security and safety possible like cab facility, I-card, alertness no pressure.

There is so much of good package, best facilities, high standard living these are the positive points of this life as I have experienced. The negative points are like no career, no learning, night shifts or rotational shifts, high pressurized work. For every things happening around us have positive as well as negative perspective. Just grab the opportunity as per your will, interest and talents.
