Hindutva Did Not Win, Ultra-Face Politics And Islampophobia Did, And Upa Has To Take The Blame

In 2019, even after running a pathetic administration for half a decade, we saw our countrymen voting the Saffron back to power. It is to be considered that even with the lowest GDP growth rate, with high farmer suicide rates and unemployment issues, what was it so special that got them way far beyond the magic mark? Two words:- Islamophobia. Another Word. Ultra nationalism. And the Gandhi family has to take the blame.

First of all, the way Islamophobia has spread throughout the country has been due to the divide and rule vote bank politics that was popularized by none other than the Congress. The minority appeasement policies itself led to the growth of grievances amongst the Hindus. The idea of Hindu Rashtra, an idea that stemmed the birth of RSS, was just too easy to be popularized amongst these. Why? It is very simple. It was actually washed into the brains of our common folk that your facilities might depend on your religion. So tell me, after this has gone on for decades and then a party comes up and asks for your votes on the name of your religion, I guess where the mass will cast their votes. The Indian Constitution has mentioned security and reservation for minorities, not appeasement. It was these appeasement policies that have turned Frankenstein in the ballot box war. And religion has always been a very sensitive issue for the people of the subcontinent. It was not hunger, or oppression or socio-economic grounds on which the Revolt of 1857 happened, it happened as a result of fat and cow fat in the cartridge.

The other point is, the way UPA has neglected the true essence of our parliamentary electoral procedure for so many years. You see, the Gandhi family has always been procrastinated and upheld at every election, without paying attention and promoting the MP. This was systematically done to retain strength inside the party, and therefore, in this fashion, all they did was promote the idea of face politics, without having a face. So when NDA came as a strong popular figure like Narendra Modi, UPA was beaten thick and thin. The only thing NDA had to do was retain this evil, and they have done it brilliantly.

The seeds were sown long, long back. It's only now that they are coming out.
