By the quote almost every single person could have understood what am i refering to.From AZAADI to APNA TIME AAYEGA,Gully boy has infact inspired,been within and has taken over every gali across India.From the script to the songs to the acting this film and it's casts and crew recieved a loud applause from all around the world.Each character was so different and real in its place as thousands of people said that they did relate this film to there own personel life.

The film casted Ranveer Singh as an wanna be rapp artist who has a voice,lyrics and a talent but is afraid of the restrictions imposed by his father who marries another woman and treats his initial family with ponds of struggle.Ranveer Singh's character named Murad is supported by 4 other characters,his mother,his girlfriend Sakina portrait by Alia Bhatt,Sky portrait by Kalki Kochlin and Mc Sher portrait by Siddhant Chaturvedi.When life gives him the perfect platform and a chance to overcome the obstacles and shine Murad grabs the oppurtunity and finish the race and become a re-knowned rapper from the streets of Dharavi(Mumbai).Alia Bhatt as usual gave a fantastic performance playing the perfect supportive girlfriend with no complaints and no demands.Also after a cheating incident in the movie which goes on between the trio in the movie i.e. Ranveer,Alia and Kalki at a point Sakina(Alia) gives Murad a second chance showing her love and affection towards Murad.MC Sher portrait by Siddhant Chaturvedi created a separate fan base as his acting skills proved him a worthy debutant and the heart throbe of millions of girls across the country and inspiration for many boys.

The film came out on the 14^th of February 2019 and took the youth by storm. Highly appreciated by celebrities, personalities and the audience, this biopic talks about the hip-hop culture of India. The film is based on the lives of Mumbai based rappers – Divine and Naezy, played by Ranveer Singh and debutant Siddhant Chaturvedi. Even a month after the release of the film, it still has the same sensation as on the first day. It is the first film ever made in the country of its kind and has received extraordinary praise, as have the actors.

In its promotions, the film also promoted various underdog hip-hop artists from the streets and provided them with a huge platform on which to perform.Writer-Director Zoya Akhtar along with her co writers has confirmed a sequel of the films as she feels that there is so much more to be spoken about the hip-hop culture in India.From a personal view, the film is a complete entertainment package, with great acting, direction and not to forget music, packed in the 2 hour 37 minute film. Most critics have given the film about 3.5 to 4 or more stars.

Not only nationally but the movie did very well in overseas also.The movie crossed the 200 Crore Club in just 2.5 weeks and was thus ready to enter the 300 Crore with a bang.APNA TIME AAYEGA was one of the most hyped and famous songs of the movie which created and gained lots of buzz.It was liked by everyone so much that these 3 words were printed on the T-Shirts,Mobile Covers and some even got a tattoo quoting these 3 lines.With the release of it's trailer and songs the movie already had a buzz of 8.5/10 for nearly a month.
