You don't need motivation to do what you love!!!

Covered by an army of 1.2 million soldiers with a strength of merely 42, seems little impossible but that was a true case with Guru Gobind Singh Ji-tenth guru of Sikh. Keep Reading this blog and uncover the imagery of one of the most prominent battle fought by Sikhs-Battle of Chamkaur Sahib.

Guru Gobind Singh was the son of Guru Tegh Bahadur, who was the ninth guru. Guru Gobind was his successor after his father was beheaded brutally for refusing to convert into Islam by then mughal king Aurangzeb. So, he became Sikh guru at a younger age, He was a warrior and founded Khalsa-(Renunciation of fully initiated Sikh) . Guru Believed in Dharma yudha and chose war as his last resort. He fought 14 battles with this principle and never destructed any worship place. His sole Intention was to save the rights of the society.

Though his battles are hard-to-forget but the infamous battle of Chamkaur Sahib led the Mughals to set on the edge. As per the legend, Guruji and his followers including his two sons, who were later martyred in the battle, were residing in a haveli or a fort in Chamkaur. Under the order of Aurangzeb, whole mughal force of 1.2 million personnel, were following Guruji . After learning that the Khalsa party had taken shelter in Chamkaur, they marched towards it under the command of Wazir khan.

Guru ji prepared his army and motivated them by saying “chidhiyan te mai baaza ladau, giderron se mai sher banau, sawa lakh se ek ladau. Tabhi guru gobind naam kahau”!! which literally means “its when i make sparrow fight hawk, its when i make lion out of wolf, it is when i make one fight a hundred and twenty five thousand that i am called guru gobind ”.

Mughals won that battle but confidence of guruji take our chills out.No matter whatever situations we are facing , we should follow the simple rule that we cannot run away from our duties and facing it fearlessly is only the way to counter it.
