Bachpan... Hum to Bade hote hi maar daale usko... Kuchal diye zameen me usko... Aise paaon rakhe uski gardan par aur daba diye saale ko... Ab koi nahi kehta main special Hoon... Ab main aaraamse apni Zindagi jee sakta Hoon...

Today, I want to ask a question to everyone. Are you really happy in what you are doing? You are earning well, you are at the top position at your job but is that really what you want. You are secured well for the future but are you really contended with your present? Are you even your real selves? Majority of you may say Yes but deep inside you all must be knowing that No we are not ourselves.

This article is not about a movie but it's more about our lives. More than it's romance, comedy, entertainment, its all about the real meaning of living a life that Imtiaz Ali, the director has expressed in one of the underrated movies of Bollywood, Tamasha.

We all are puppets. We are living a life that we observe as the most secured. We see others and we simply imitate. There are hardly a few who really stand to live their own lives. Moreover, if someone who doesn't stand, tries to take a step, we, the well experienced society, start panicking them with all the stories of failures. And we push them in a jail of the same old life style that most of us live in the name of security for the future.

Vahi Kahani fir ek baar

Majnu me liye kapde phaad,

Dekh tamasha beech bazaar."

Why do we all forget that we are breathing to live and not to earn penny? Everyone in life doesn't want a secured job and same old life style. Some do think beyond that, some do wish to earn fame, they do want a happy life and not a secured life. Because they know that no matter what amount they earn, that money is never going to satisfy all of their needs. But they do know that if they are happy, they will be more than contended.

The problem is not the judgemental society, the problem is that we lack the guts to fight against everyone and do what we want to. We lack the guts of moving out of the nutshell and thinking beyond the comfort zone. And then we end up being frustrated, disappointed and depressed just like Ved in the movie. That moment we feel like who we really are, Who am I?

Our vision to fly can only be fulfilled if we use our wings the way we want to. Only then we can be completely us. Perhaps that's the reason why God has given everyone a distinct soul and a body.

Ye sharir kiska hai? Tera

Ye aatma kiski hai? Teri

Isme basi Zindagi kiski hai? Ye bhi Teri

Agar sabkuch Tera Hain

To Kyu Tu har pal kisi aur ke baare me sochta hain.

Agar Zindagi me aaj hai

To kyu tu har pal Kal ki fikar me Marta hain.

Kya darr hai tuje.

Bhatkega, Girega, Chot bhi Khaega,

Tabhi to Banega Tu

Dekhenge, Rokenge, Tokenge, Sab kuch karenge

Kyuki sabse hatke, ik naya Tamasha Banaega Tu.

@meddy thank you so much for liking my #wrytup. And yes it is true somewhere we do get driven by our responsibilities of our families and their livelihoods that we forget a responsibility towards our own selves. I think there should be a perfect blend for everything. Only then life can be lived content fully.

The writing is awesome. I love this. The film 'Tamasha', is my one of the favorite movies, after reading this; I also found new and interesting angle of the movie. Some issues are really felt here, during reading and my god... what a poem at last !!! This is one of the best motivational articles, I have ever read. Awesome.
