At around 3AM today, I woke up suddenly because of a notification sound on my phone. I got a message from my dearest and closest cousin Mr. Pavan. At first, I was tensed and when I opened it, I totally got surprised. He is going to marry today. He sent me the address but not disclosed remaining details. Out of curiosity, I asked him the name of the bride. He replied Susmita. That made me a happier person. The man who is having none is marrying a woman who is having all. It will take around 5 hrs to reach the destination and the time for the occasion is at 10 AM.  I started at 4 AM.

My enthusiasm is already on high because I have waited for this particular occasion. Yes, finally Pavan is marrying Susmita. “MARRIAGES ARE MADE IN HEAVEN” is what the elder people will always say.  At first, I considered that sentence as a shit, but now yes it is true.

“He completed his graduation and got a good job. I first met him in a marriage. I got addicted to him because of his practical nature. Oh GOD, he is very practical and intelligent. On our Cousin Miss Prasanna’s marriage, we were given a task to perform. As a part of the task, we were given 6 coins and were asked to arrange those 6 coins by maintaining 4 coins in one row and 4 coins in one column. We had tried but failed. Some of our cousins even termed that task as ridiculous. Everyone had failed except Mr. Pavan. He solved task. That was the first instance I came to know about his credibility. He is different, totally different from others.

Some days after Prasanna’s marriage, Vivek who is the husband of Prasanna had arranged a ‘get together’. Everyone was invited. And then there came Susmita who is a close relative to Vivek. I also had attended that ‘get together’ event. I was waiting for Pavan. He came to the event. He was the only one who would be blamed for things which were not done by him. We were asked to introduce ourselves i.e.. Self Introduction. Everyone had said about their life, their achievements (which were not achieved), and their children (if they have) etc and left about the people who helped them… Some so called relatives had taken a step forward and praised their sons and grandsons by comparing with others. But Pavan was the only one who showed some sort of thankfulness to the persons who helped him in his crucial times. That showed his Loyalty.

Like every movie consists of a villain, there is a villain in Pavan’s life. Here Mr. Rakesh is the villain. He is a cousin to Pavan. He always pretends to be a leader and always tries to show his dominance on others (particularly on his cousins). He is having two sons and an elder one is very aggressive. Rakesh didn’t utter a single word on his sons, even his sons were making mistakes. He always blames Pavan for covering the mistakes that were being done by his sons. They were having no hospitality. They always used to treat relatives as workers. His elder son always indulges in others’ personal matters and is a greedy person. His family (his wife and his sons) always cries on others’ success. And thereby as per the justice, they hadn’t got settled in their lives and are depending on their ancestral properties.

It’s all started at the get-together event. Many girls from Vivek’s side were very beautiful and Susmita is one of them.  The relatives of Vivek are having good financial condition. Most of them are in businesses. First day of the event had passed by introductions. On second day, we had decided to play cricket a 5 match series. Since Rakesh is elder of all our cousins, he was made as a captain. The First match was completed, we lost. Susmita had taken the wicket of Pavan. We also lost the second match only because of Rakesh’s and his son’s immature decisions. They simply had thrown the blame on Pavan. They got angry on Pavan, who lost his wicket to Susmita again. In that match, Pavan had scored more runs. Then came the third match which was an important game for us. At that time, our team had done a lot of practice before the game. But to my shock, Pavan was removed from the team. Even the opposition knew about the skills of Pavan. But only due to Rakesh, Pavan was thrown away. We lost the third match as well. Our batting order had totally got collapsed. Then all of us got furious on Rakesh and his son. We raised our voice against them. In the fourth match, we were successful in throwing Rakesh’s son out of the team and brought Pavan back. We won remaining 2 matches because of only Pavan. But surprisingly, Pavan lost his wicket to Susmita in both the matches. At first Pavan was blamed a lot and now he had got more popularity than anyone else. Entire family of Vivek started liking and admiring Pavan for his honesty and dedication. Since Pavan had lost his wicket to Susmita in all the four matches, they had begun to interact with each other. While interacting they both recollected about their meeting regarding a project few months back. They both got surprised and eventually became friends. My relation with Pavan was upgraded to further level and became brothers. (Cousins to Brothers… Every cousin can’t be a brother or sister)..

That interaction between Pavan and Susmita had created envy in the minds of Rakesh and his family. They had started betraying Pavan by creating unwanted things about him by saying that he was a womanizer, used to visit brothel houses frequently, always used to take drugs and having relation with multiple elder women. The reputation of Pavan was gradually getting soured. Some so called relatives on Pavan’s side were supporting Rakesh and were against Pavan due to his surging popularity. Since all of us were unmarried at that time, we were being dragged into matters regarding marriage. Rakesh and his mother had started embarrassing Pavan and his parents in front of the relatives. Keeping all this stuff aside, Susmitha started developing a soft corner on Pavan and wanted to bring a marriage proposal to him through her parents.

But on the last day of our event, susmita asked her parents to speak with Pavan’s parents regarding marriage of pavan and susmita. Rakesh somehow managed to know about this and started targeting pavan’s mother and her financial condition. Pavan always knows about his limits. In a concluding speech, pavan openly said that he will never marry as he knew his limitations very well. He indirectly gave hint to susmita by saying “It’s unfair for a man who is having none wants to marry a woman who is having all” and left the event. I still visualize the moment how he left that event.

After a few months, it was my marriage and I invited everyone. Pavan and Susmita also attended my marriage. Susmita was still in love with pavan and was unable to express it. Pavan came, wished me and went. Then I came to know that Susmita had tried to speak with him but Pavan hadn’t responded to any. The next day was my reception and then Susmita marriage was confirmed to another cousin of ours. His name is Ram kumar. “

Finally, today is the day. I really want to know how they both are getting married. I reached the destination before 1 hour of the event. To my surprise it is Mr. Ram kumar, who is doing all the things. The first thing I asked Mr. Ram about this marriage. Mr Ram replied “After your marriage, everyone was busy with their professional careers. Susmita was also got busy and still sometimes she used to remember mr. Pavan. One day, there was a small party in the Susmita’s company. The party was organized as a big project was completed. I along with Susmita had attended to the party. Then to our surprise, Pavan also attended as he was also a part of the project from his company. He had got rewarded for his work and he had given a speech. In the interaction, he was asked about a person who was very close to his heart after his mother by a random person & to which he replied the name Susmita. We both had gotten shocked. He also said that he was not having any eligibility to marry Susmita. After the party, he had seen us and with a teary face he had congratulated us both as he was thinking we both got married. Then out of sorrow, Susmita hugged him and asked him to marry her to which at first he hesitated and later on Susmita parents moved to Pavan’s mother and at last he agreed. I am going to marry Shirisha in next month.”

I went inside the marriage hall with a happy teary eyed face. I met them, congratulated them, and had a picture together.

If the relation between any two individuals is created with sincere love and faith, then even the almighty can’t separate them. Expressing the love is better than hiding. Some relations may also have a connection with our past lives. Sometimes if we see someone, our heart will automatically get connected with their soul even though we haven’t met personally or spoken with them. This particular relation can be termed as a past life discontinued or broken relationships. God always has plans and makes us move towards our loved ones. Some will get love at an early age, some get love lately and some never get. “Early success is a scam and great things take time.” Likewise, Love at an early age is a scam and it takes time for real love. Whatever is destined to happen will happen for sure. If love or affection is not expressed at first, there will be no chance for expressing later.

Let the world fills with pure love and happiness…..

Thanks ….
