Micro transactions are in-game purchases that unlock some features to the users to play the game. The purchases are virtual. Using micro transactions the game designers are exploiting people, particularly children. Some publisher’s sell only what can be acquired in game. This means any item shop can be found in game with some form of alternative currency that is introduced that users can earn through game play or daily return. Let us take a well-known game as an example, few years back when Facebook has become popular, CANDY CRUSH game broken the records. Users addicted to that game. It reached to extent of buying lives and moves for dollars/rupees. The game designers used the players of the game as an advertisement tool by making this send requests of game to their friends and making them ask their friends to accept their request in order to get life and purchasing lives and moves for dollars/rupees.Time is precious for everyone; developers are using time as limitation for engaging users in the game. Like locking users until the resources are filled or until cash shop purchase is made. No one think that game which is available freely in fact collecting money. The addiction of players was profit to the game developers. This is purely mind game and mantra for world-wide game developers. We need to understand that nothing is available at free of cost everything has a hidden cost. Like politicians providing free schemes and the hidden cost is votes.
