The Kranti.....

A country with one of the highest crime rate aginst women were peopleworship a woman for nine days during Durga pooja. We worship goddess durga,lakshmi but when it comes to reality. Everything comes to an Holt as if nothing like that exist. The crime rates increase day by day not only in our country but in each amd every region of the world. The most unsafe place for a woman is home. Woman is a combination of emotions and strength. Robin Chaurasia an Indian - American girl. She saw domestic violence at a very young age.Being poor at financial status she managed to complete her graduation on funds. She applied for USAF in return of 4 years of active duty. Since her father was an engineering at Boeing ,she dreamed of making her career in Airforce. While working at Veterans Affairs she knew the policies of mental health, discrimination minorities. She worked with USAF and has also volunteered with anti trafficking NGO's in Uganda.

After she declared herself as lesbian,she was thrown out of the service under Don't ask,don't tell principle. Things seems to be cool only on surface but when it comes to dig just a bit,its all a crap that comes out. She faced a lot of discrimination on the basis of her status. According to her ,hiding( being leasbian) is much psychologically damaging the people than queers allowed polices.Some spend their entire life in hinding or hunted down at gay bars. The older you grew, the higher you move,more you have to loose

Robin returned to India with this thought. She has an idea of doing something for the girls or women of red light area. But change doesn't come in a day. She plans a startup for the daughter of sex workers.

However, this idea came to her mind when she came to india for volunteering work. Her observation was that the women only learn limited things such as tailoring,making pickles but this doesn't develop their skill and passion.Seeing the situation at grassroots levels she was aware of the hurdles and challenges.

The basis problem was the mindset of people. Queerness was tolerated but definitely not welcomed in our society.A need of open-minded person is must as things get difficult the moment you say" I do not have father".

When the local residents came to know about them,it was like homeless situation,no school andpolice .

After suffering a lot.... then started a Kranti.Kranti school where the daughters of such workers learn and study. Many workshops are conducted to convert burden to their assets apart from personality development.

Shweta katt and other girls are the outcomes of the kranti hardwork. These girls share bond with their mother. For Kranti mothers get respect from their daughters is the priority. This organization travel all over the world and through play "lal batti express"aware the public. This play is the depiction of trails and tribulations faced by the sex workers,their children ofAsia's red light district. The motto is to bring a revolution,creat army of girls to empower women and bring change,give birth to more change makers.

Someone said so truea women is like a tea bag you never know how strong she is until she get in hot water. If a man bleed like woman for even half an hour...then he's straight going to die. Always remember big and strong man doesn't make country strong, it's a woman,a mother,sister and wife that makes nation stronger. World is incomplete without woman.
