Growing up we all would have had our fair share of dynamic role models. Being able to inspire billion souls even after your era of living ends is totally divine. Engraving your name in history takes huge sacrifices and contributions. One such greatest human in history who really kindled my astonishment and muse was Joan Of Arc.
Joan of Arc or Jeanne d'Arc was a female spiritual leader from France. Her timeline was crucially short (1412- 1431) but her fame and achievements are to be spoken for highly. Joan's family was settled household in Domremy village of France. At the age of 14 while getting exhausted over my daily home works, Joan of Arc was with flying colors of her honor and bravery.

It was the chronicle time of France when it was under siege by British army. 100 years' war between France and England was at its peak when Joan convinced people at the age of 13 that she was chosen by God to lead France into victory in the war. She expressed her foreseeing gift to the people of her village to make her visions of saving France.
Joan did not have an easy path to make her entry into leading the battle. She had to show her strong willpower to go through various mayors, generals of the village and then of France to reach Charles VII. Those days' people were tremendously religious and conservative about their beliefs which made Joan's journey intensely difficult.
After having to prove her visions come true sequentially, in 1429 Joan met with Charles VII of Orleans to take the Orleans army to save France and in turn end the 100 year war. She was 17 when she led the army of Orleans to win against British. Joan was portrayed as a powerful figure who never exhibited fear.
Various conflicts/battles which Joan of Arc has fought as a prime soldier are:
In 1430 she was captured by the British to be held charged of 70 crimes. It was eventually reduced to 12 among which were witchcraft and cross-dressing (Joan is known for her man-like dressing). After being imprisoned for days, Joan was ordered to be burnt alive at stake on May 1431(age 19), for not accepting to give up on her beliefs.

Irrespective of her debatable vision for conversations with God in the present world, her actions and warrior skills were legendary facts. How she started the voyage religiously is not salient but what she did pragmatically to help her nation makes her the key idol behind turning the tide of 100 years' war.
Above all heroic deeds which made her historically renown, Joan was just a child of 16 years old when she took over an army to victory. Attaining such courageous responsibility to sacrifice her life for the nation is what makes her highly desirable role model for many women till date.
