A 90's Kid

We experienced childhood, as we know it where something was cool for around 10 minutes then it was finished, onto the following enormous prevailing fashion. Yet, presently it appears as though slants last about a moment and a half and it's finished; about if it takes to make another website page or download a melody. What used to have life span and keep going for quite a long time is over before it even starts.

I feel fortunate in light of the fact that I got the chance to see the two sides of the range — the world before the innovation intrusion and the world after, where it's important to have no less than five devices going without a moment's delay, albeit once in a while it's not the most brilliant move to deal with every one of them while driving. Our age didn't rely upon iPads, Kindles and different structures, beside the Game Boys and Disk-Mans. We didn't remain inside because there was nothing to do except if it was raining and still, after all that, we were asking to go out if just to the yard.

Be that as it may, the children today are so unique, everything is revolved around their tablets or iPods. They scarcely investigate except if the place was ablaze and still, at the end of the day, despite everything they wouldn't move from the screen. I would like to mention 3 such things which were there in those times, but has changed drastically because of the invasion of technology in our lives.

1. Today we can watch any movie, can listen to any song or music without leaving our room whereas in those times we had to actually go outside, buying a ticket for a movie or renting a DVD for songs or music.

2. Today, we have iPods, tablets, kindles, blue ray players — all sorts of ways to play back movies at any moment and it’s so easy to transport at the drop of a hat. There’s no cause for boredom anymore because how can you be, with 38 Gigabits at your finger tips. But then, We had Game Boys, Portable DVD players and Disc-Man’s — all required an investment in batteries but always seemed to die the moment the car left the driveway, the Disc-Mans seemed to have a long live, you could literally drop it from a height of seven feet and it wouldn’t break. I know this because my cousin did this experiment off the garage and it not only survived but continued to work as if it never been dropped.

3. Today, we can pick and choose what internet programs we want and customize them to our exact preference. We can change the format and place our favorite sites as a banner. Wi-fi is everywhere and we never have to worry about paying for internet. But then, we had two programs to choose from and they both involved tying up the phone line. Signing on to early AOL, it sounded like a cartoon and sometimes when you connected, you could actually become a third party in a phone call and eavesdrop and if someone left the phone off the hook, it was a race against the clock to fix it so you could get into your Instant Messages with random strangers over random things — like Facebook groups except it is more safe and you are more cautious of what you share.
