Can Indie Games Like Broforce Survive In 21st Century?

It's the game that we couldn't believe didn't exist before. With muscular biceps and blood dripping daggers, BroForce is the ultimate 2D platformer right now. If you had even a minor liking of Contra, then this is his big brother. BroForce is a salute to the American Cinema. Earth's mightiest heroes use their machine guns to beat Satan in this game. All the characters are made into Bros. For example Bro in Black, Brochette and Bro Hard. The game speaks again and again that they were not limited by the technology of the time, but they chose 16-bit graphics to increase the different type of actions the protagonist and enemies can perform.

Technical Aspect

It is more dependent on RAM than craving for graphics.If the game would have been released two decades ago, then it would have probably blown the world. Still, it stands firm and has a life-altering effect on the body.BroForce features confident characters, unique and well-themed levels, which perfectly match the run-n-gun genre.

You can play with up to four players in co-op multiplayer. The objective of the levels are simple, kill anyone who comes in your way while saving comrades and get to the chopper. The later levels are filled with disgusting aliens and creatures from hell and robots. What makes this real game fun are the dumb enemies who got the one-shot kill guns. You can be extremely creative while killing enemies. The starting levels are a cakewalk and to get some hilarious moments in the game. Although as you progress, the enemies become more and more dangerous. It is always advised to keep moving as suicide bombers can make you punch on your screen.

BroForce is made up of entirely destructible environments. This means you can make your path underground and pull on a sneaky kill on the enemy. This is useful when you want to kill a worm-like boss whose body is half buried into the ground.

Keeping it under control

The destructive ability is too high, sometimes when using the Bro in Black characters things can go out of hand, and you can end up destroying the whole tower and in the process blasting your path to progress in the level.

The game comprises of tons of blob-like pixelated characters to keep the game exciting, but if you play with jerk friends, you will end up unlocking all of them in the first few levels itself.
