Infosys Limited is the second ranking Multinational Corporation in the overall list of Most Respected Companies. It has it’s headquarter established in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The services provided include business consulting, information technology and outsourcing services.
The company was established in 1981 in Pune, Maharashtra, India and later in 1983 it changed its headquarter to Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. It was earlier named as Infosys Technologies Private Limited in April 1992 and Infosys Technologies Limited in June 1992 and finally it was named Infosys Limited in June 2011.

It is a centralized online real time exchange banking product service that allows customers to access their bank accounts from any member branch office of the group of networked bank branches. Infosys developed this core banking product to provide universal digital banking functionality to banks. This product was finally released on 1 November 2011. It is written in C/C++ and Java.
Next Generation Integrated AI Platform formerly known as Mana includes big data analytics, machine learning, knowledge management and also includes natural language processing(NLP), optical character recognition(OCR). NIA basically helps its clients to solve complex business problems like it can manage the order-to-cash process with ultimate efficacy.
Panaya is a software company of Israel founded in 2006 is an auxiliary of Infosys. It’s services including change impact analysis, test execution, application lifecycle management acceleration and many more, run on EC2(Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud). This company was taken over by Infosys during the tenure of former CEO Vishal Sikka. Presently Infosys is on the track of selling Panaya.

Employee Distribution of Infosys: Around 89% of its employees are from India. Infosys includes employees from 129 nationalities. The majority of its employees are software professionals, 16% employees are engaged in its BPM(Business Performance Management) arm and a small percentage of employees are employed in sales and support.
Infosys has its training centre established in Mysuru, Karnataka. The campus is 337 acres large with 400 instructors and 200+ classrooms. It has the capability to train 14000 employees of different technologies at one time. It train its employees with the motive to incur future executive qualities in them and develop senior leaders for Infosys.

Infosys, in 1996, has established the Infosys Foundation, a non-profit organization in Karnataka, India. Additionally, the Infosys Foundation USA has promoted education in math and science for the under-represented students of USA.
