Xiaomi as well as realme both have announced their best mid-range smartphones this month, yes guys I am talking about Xiaomi K20 and Realme x. Both these phones are superb and loaded with some awsome features , Realme x is launched today i.e 15 july 2019 at price range of 16,999INR for 4GB/128GB and 19,999INR for 8GB/128GB. The official price announcement of Xiaomi K20 is yet to come on 17 july 2019. Both these phones are launched on Flipkart. Since as these phones are almost similar, the question arises that which will be the best value phone for us.

Realme X

Realme X is said to be the best smartphone launched by Realme and it comes will some amazing features. Some of its key specs are, it comes with 6.53 inch amoled screen with 5th gen corning gorilla glass protection and it is powered by snapdragon 710 processor. It comes with 3765mah battery and supports fast charging. It has 16MP front pop-up camera and 48+5MP dual rear camera.

Redmi K20

Xiaomi nevers fails to amaze us with its latest smartphones and this time it is trying to capture the mid-range smartphone section with its latest smartphone i.e Redmi K20. Althought this phone is loaded with cool specs but some of its key features are, it comes with 6.39 inch amoled display with 5th version of corning gorills glass protection. This phone is powered by snapdragon 730 chipset processor and a 4000mah battery. It has got a 20MP front pop-up camera and 48+13+8MP triple rear camera.

Detailed comparison

  1. Design & Build: Realme x comes with polycarbonate body on the out whereas Redmi K20 comes with a back pannel of glass and metal with a 3D gradient finish at the back with curved sides at back for firm gripping.

  2. Display: Redmi K20 features a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display without any notch in a 19.5:9 aspect ratio with 600 nits of maximum brightness with support for HDR content whereasRealme X features a 6.53-inch full-screen AMOLED display, again without any notch.

Processor: Realme X runs on the same entry-flagshipSnapdragon 710chip as Realme 3 Pro with up to 8GB of RAM whereas Redmi K20 comes with the newly launchedSnapdragon 730chipset with up to 8GB of RAM. Both the smartphones have the same Adreno 616 GPU for graphics. Realme packs in dedicated HyperBoost and GameBoost to offer an enhanced gaming experience whereas Xiaomi has added an 8 layer liquid cooling system to keep the phone cool during extended gaming sessions.

It can juice up Realme X from 0 to 100 per cent under 75 minutes whereas Redmi K20 houses a huge 4,000 mAh battery backed by AI smart optimization to extend the phone’s battery to last longer supporting 18W fast charging technology. The charge time varies between 90 to 100 minutes.

Conclusion

On seeing specs, both the phones look amazing and have some plus points in one or another field. Now if you ask me to choose one then i will go with k20 as its come up slightly better than Realme X. But still the official price of Redmi k20 is not announced officially, and if it comes under 20k then i think it will be the best mid-range smartphone of this year.
