Lately our news feeds have been drenched with pictures of hollywood and bollywoodcelebrities wearing awfully amazing dresses which can totally bamboozle mindsposing on the pink carpet. Yes, I’m talking about the most talked about event,Met Gala. " is held on every first Monday of May and celebrities hit the carpet wearing the most creative dresses they can come up with. And we all become the fair- weather fashionistas even if we don’t know the F of fashion. We come up with our opinions about the dresses they put on and how good are these matching with their makeup or how good are the dresses fitting with the theme, in other words we become the so called ‘Fashion Police'.

Every year Met Gala puts up a theme and the theme for this year 2019, was CAMP, which means exaggerated fashion. The event was sponsored by Gucci and Co-hosted by Lady Gaga and Harry Styles, who are known for their “camp fashion”. Mostly Hollywood celebrities hit the pink carpet but Indian celebrities through their talent have managed to reach that place. Isha Ambani,Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Natasha Poonawalla were the Indian celebrities present in this year’s Met Gala.

Priyanka impressed the fashion police with her flamboyant Dior gown and dramatic make-up. She looked the epitome of the word ‘camp' and had a tint of Indian culture in her outrageous look(which she depicted by wearing a bindi).She hit the carpet with her husband, Nick Jonas whom she met in the MET in 2017.And after two years we seen them together happily married. Nick Jonas had put on a white dress and both of them slayed.

Celine Dion had a bold look with extravagant headgear which weighed 22 pounds.Serena Williams, the international tennis player, for the vey first time appeared at the event and had pulled on an ambitious look by wearing a golden gown. She still wore a pair of Nike sneakers which simultaneously made her look casual as well as luxurious.She hit the carpet with her husband Axinos and went on record to say that he is a proud husband.

Deepika, who made her Hollywood debut with the movie XXX was also seen at the event wearing a pink gown and looked like a barbie with retro hairdo. The embroidery work on her pink gown took 160 hours to make.

Isha Ambani was the perfect example of "beauty with substance" in a Prabal Gurung ball gown. She is the daughter of India's richest entrepreneur. Natasha also added a part of traditional Indian to her look by wearing a maang tika.

Some Hollywood celebrities walked down the carpet with bold looks. Kim Kardashian, Emily Ratajkowsi,Zoe Kravitz, Ciara, lady Gaga, Kylie Jenner Kendall Jenner and Joan Smalls were some of the celebs with bold looks.
We sitting back in our homes keep trolling and roasting celebrities for their looks. But the truth is that we stand nowhere and have got no right to speak about their theme as this event started back in 1948 and has always been a hit. We must appreciate all the hard work that is put into making these dresses and other make up as it is not everyone’s cup of tea.Met Gala is always a big hit and Indian celebrities keep showing their presence in this prestigious event, making us more and more proud.
