We often say goodbye to our loved ones or to the people we meet. It is said after we are leaving the conversation or meeting. But goodbye sounds very formal and is typically only used if we are never going to see the person again. But instead of saying goodbye there are many other words which you can use instead of 'BYE-BYE'.
Some common words that you can use instead of bye- bye or goodbye are:
We say this, to give blessings to the person we meet.
We say this because when we feel good after meeting that person.
We say this when we want to continue the convo but we are out of time, so we say this.
We say this after the conversation is over.
We say take care of the person for whom we care.

Ta-Ta is an informal way of saying goodbye.
This is a formal goodbye. Instead of saying goodbye in a meeting we can say thank you to the person for coming and bow in order to respect that person.
This is also an informal way of saying goodbye. We say this when we need to go and have no time to engage more in the talk.
We say this to the person whom we like and want to talk to him or her more. But currently, the time is not in our hand.
It is a kind of physical goodbye, either by hugging or kissing the person.
