Losing memory is a nightmare to anyone, but once in a girl’s life was not. Today we are talking about a girl named Hima, and she was a student of class ninth in a reputed schools. She was a bright student in her school and also good at sports. As she was from one of the wealthy families, she lived a lavish life and never faced dejections in her family. She had pride in her appearance and talent that she had. She was so particular about the dresses she wore and talked to intelligent students only. One day a new student named Kea, shifted to the school due to her father’s transfer.

She was good at sports but was not bright in studies. In class ninth, she introduced herself, and the principal insisted Hima to help her in previous lessons and Hima didn’t refuse the principal. That day Hima told Kea that she could come to her place and copy the notes. As Hima suggested, she asked her parent’s to drop her at Hima’s place. Kea was pleasured to see the big lawn and her room. She copied the notes, and they both talked about the interest and hobbies.

Hima was so surprised that they both share the same hobbies and asked her to come to the club she goes. Days passed and the mid-term examination was ahead. Both the girls prepared hard and gave the exams. The results were out, as usual Hima got a good grade, and she checked Kea’s grade. She was in shock to see the average grades of Kea. She then decided to show up Kea less, she started avoiding her and also once bullied her for her low grades.

Kea was upset by the way Hima started treating her, and she couldn't complain to anyone because she was her friend and also no one would believe her. A year passed, Kea had new friends and no longer talked to Hima. For the semester exams only six months were left, it was SSC board exams, the turning point for all the student, after all those grades would decide the student’s career. Kea was in the Library one day, and she heard some students murmuring about Hima’s accident. Kea was shocked, she turned to the students and asked them about Hima. They explained that Hima met with an accident a day before and she was in the hospital. Kea immediately called Hima’s parents, talked to them, and they told her that Hima is out of danger but has lost her memory. Hima can recognise objects and also can read, but she didn’t recognise people, all were tensed and sad. Kea visited Hima every evening at her place and they both spend time playing and talking to each other.

Hima’s parents didn’t want to waste Hima’s year and asked Kea to help her with studies, and she didn’t refuse. They both used to spend time in the library studying. One day other friends of Hima said to her, "You are a bright student and didn’t need Kea for studies". She was desperate to know about her lost memories and asked the other students about herself. After all they told her about her behaviour towards other students and Kea, she was depressed and was sorry for the way she treated all. She apologised to Kea for her behaviour, and thanked God for a new start. She promised that she will never be harsh on anyone and would help others in every difficulty.
