Shahrukh Khan was paid over Dh7.34 million (around 140 million INR) to become the brand ambassador for The Royal Estate Project in Dubai Investment Park.

During the launch of The Royal Estate Project, Shahrukh Khan the second richest actor in the world said: "I will bring in the eyeballs, I will bring in the interest, and I will bring in the people but the value will be brought in by the product itself."

His interior designer wife Gauri Khan has been awarded the designing role of the township.
