If you are travelling for fun once a year then budget won’t matter. But if you travel frequently around the world, then while planning a trip one must keep in mind the budget, how much the whole trip is going to cost you. People has this notion in their mind that international trips are very costly, but that is not true. There are countries where you can travel in minimum budget. It depends on which place you choose to visit and how thorough research have you done on the place you are going to visit.

So, let’s look at some of the cheapest countries one can visit from India and enjoy themselves to the fullest.

PART I

NEPAL

Huddled up in the midst of the Himalayas, lies this beautiful country covered full of snow peaks, yaks grazing up the hills, monks praying in the monasteries. To take a break from your hectic schedule and calm your insides and mind, visit Nepal without putting a lot of dent on your pockets. It is one of the neighboring and cheapest countries to visit from India.

Duration: You can plan your trip for 7 days and 6 nights.

Flight Tickets: Airfares start from INR 5,376 from New Delhi to Kathmandu.
Stay: You can find average hotels, starting from INR 300-400 and a little more decent will cost you INR 800-1,000 per day. If you are going to spend your whole day out, taking a room which costs you INR 500 will be better than INR 1,000 one.

Meals: Food in Nepal ranges anywhere from INR 500 onwards depending on the cuisine and the place you choose to eat.

Transportation: Nepal is well-connected. You can find buses and taxis which will take you wherever you want.

Indians can visit Bhutan without a passport too. The scenic beauty of Bhutan is worth visiting and watching the immaculate wonders that it offers.

Duration: You can plan your trip for 6-7 days.

Flight Tickets: Finding a direct flight is not easy, so you can either take a flight to BagdograAirport which is the nearest airport to the Bhutan border or you can enjoy yourself in bus ride which would cost you INR 1,900.

Stay: While in Bhutan, you can experience home-stays too. It would cost you INR 1,500 per night. If you opt for a hotel, a decent one, the range starts from INR 2,000.

Meals: On average, meals per person would cost you around INR 200-450 onwards, it depends where you are dining. If you go to a little more posh restaurant, then the prices might be higher.

Duration: Plan your trip for 6 days to Sri Lanka

Flight Tickets: To avoid putting a big dent on your pockets, travel from Chennai and not Delhi. The ticket fares start from INR 4,000 for one way.

I enjoyed these 2 articles more then others. As an audience (Indian audience ) I like some thing that is cheap and beautiful at the same time. This is truly very helpful.
