Tea is the second most consumed beverage after water. About 80% of people consume black tea and only 20% consume green tea. There are many types of teas like black, green and more. Tea is a favourite beverage in India. Almost every individual drinks it and some drink in more than two times a day.

Green tea is a famous tea. Green tea is produced in Japan. It is prepared by steaming the leaves which prevents change in colour and inactivation of enzymes. After steaming, rolling and drying takes place. This results in formation of green tea which is distinctly bitter and astringent.

Green tea is bitter in taste but on the other hand it is very good for our bodies. It contains large amount of antioxidants which are very essential for our body.Green tea is a famous tea.   6. It helps in weight loss.. It is a healthy way for reducing weight. One can do physical activities and can have green tea for better results.

  7. It can help in enhancing of cognitive function of brain.and hence can increasing the cognitive activities of an individual.

Green tea has many benefits and is good for healthy. One can have it as a medicine as it has lots of health benefits. There is no chance of saying no to eat. One can add few drops of honey into it…..

But people, with severe caffeine sensitivities or taking anticoagulant drugs should try to avoid green tea. Also, it should not be taken with any other stimulating drugs. Just keep these things in mind and enjoy your green tea....
