EuroNext: is a PAN European stock exchange having market places in Belgium, France, Ireland, Netherlands and Portugal. It is the largest stock exchange in continental Europe and offers all securities products including equities, exchange traded funds, warrants, bonds, derivatives and commodities, indices and a foreign exchange trading platform. It was formed in September 2000, after a merger with Amsterdam Stock Exchange, Brussels stock exchange and Paris stock exchange to take advance of harmonization of financial markets of European Union. Later on it added, London and Portugal to its portfolio. In 2005, it started new segment called Euronext Growth and later in 2014, EnterNExt, a market place for small and mid size companies and enterprises.


London Stock Exchange is a Britain based stock exchange group which owns, London Stock Exchange, Borsa Italiana (Italian Stock exchange), MillenniumIT (Srilankan Stock Exchange) Russell Indices, FTSE International and Exactpro. The group has acquired interests in various other stock exchanges like Toronto stock exchange, Delhi Stock Exchange, etc.


Deutsche Börse group: is a marketplace organiser for the trading of shares and other securities. It owns and operates Germany’s largest stock exchange, Frankfurt stock exchange. Its other subsidiaries are 360T,Clearstream, Xettra (a trading system), Eurex and STOXX.


SIX Swiss Exchange: is Zurich’s principal Stock Exchange and its trades in stocks and other securities like government bonds and derivatives. The stock exchange is a part of SIX group which provides other financial services like clearing, custodian services and payment services. SIX Swiss Exchange was the first stock exchange in the world to introduce automated electronic trading and clearing and settlement systems in 1995.The principal index of the exchange is SMI (Swiss Market Index). It represents the 20 most liquid large and mid cap stocks based on free float market capitalization.
