A story has been drafted on a daily times describing life of A young boy who had been trapped in games and the people around him getting affected. Itwas distressful reading about it .

Pranav is the guy who had been engrossed in a PC game DOTA 2. He was initially introduced to this game by his classmate. DOTA 2 is a multiplayer game involving two teams of 5 players each.Pranav and his classmate were pursuing Master's in Digital Game Design. So undoubtedly,they were passionately involved in the game.

According to Pranav's father, Pranav was so obsessed that he would lock himself in his room for several hours and also skip meals and sleep,due to which he started losing his appetite.He was taken to various clinics like Service for Healthy Use of Mental Health and Neurosciences for treatment. But at the end,Panchakarma therapy, a detoxification regime worked out for him.

Similarly nowadays, PUBG has taken its turn. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner reward giving pleasure and high esteem to play more and more higher levels. The young boys spending their all time in playing the online game with their groups and friends, forgetting about their daily chores and job they need to do, ignoring their careers. Because of these influential activities people surrounding them also get affected.

Some negative effects of playing video games.

WHO had recently declared Gaming disorder to be disease and included in International Classification of Diseases ( ICD II) , placing it next to Gambling disorder.Gaming disorder has been characterized as a recurring gaming behaviors as player starts to given unabridged priority to game.

Survey by Dell also shows that in response to 5500 PC games, 11 countries including India -48% gamers are in the age of 20-30, 12% in teens,40% in older adults and 47% are female.

Also many argue, someone reading too many books or watching too many movies doesn't become addicted to books or movies then how come playing certain games becomes an addiction? That's also very true that not everyone who Drink alcohol will become alcoholic. Similarly not everyone who play games become game addict.

But all the research and evidences show that although people have very keen interest in games or something of their personal interest, they should take the games to be a part of leisure period entertainment.

The things stated above are true, game should be in free time or when one takes small break from studies,it shouldn't become a habit. People who are getting affected should control themselves and understand that it's just a game not a part of their live. You can't be wasting your whole career for a game. Even gamers don't do that. Good one again, keep it up✌️
