You feel find ‘gym freak’ in almost every online bio data these days. There are many reasons why people avoid going to the gym. Here are a few -

1) Inertia!

These people are more commonly known as ‘Aalsi’(lazy). Thinking about taking admission in a gym is easy, joining a gym is also easy but there’s always this inertia (especially in the beginning) before actually going to the gym. Some days when you are too tired you don’t feel like going to the gym. On other days, you are too depressed or too tensed to even think about going to the gym.

2) No time

There are people who make new year resolutions every year. Most of the lists include ‘joining a gym’ as their top priority and in that spirit they end up paying for the gym without proper planning. As a result, they never get the time to go to the gym and that’s why it’s said that the annual membership bought during the new year’s offer are usually the most unused membership!

3) Need company

Then there are people who need Friends for everything! From counting there repetitions to keeping a note of the number of sets and the exercises performed, most importantly for the motivation during exercise, they need a ‘company ‘ for everything! If they don’t have someone then they would prefer sitting at home.

4) Don’t know the limits

They don’t need anyone to create any problem in their lives. They can do that independently. They are so highly motivated that instead of 3 reps they would go for 10 reps and never see the gym again!

5) The Muhurat followers

If you are punctual all the time but get late by 1 minute one day and thenyou cancel the plan of going to the gym, then my friend you belong to this category! It’s good to value other’s time along with your own but to consider being late as a crime is a bit too much. Take a chill pill!

6) Muscle soreness

DOMS(Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) is the new word for it! Now this could be a genuine reason but sometimes it can be overused by the Drama kings and queens! It’s a natural process and takes time to heal but in case if it’s not very severe you can continue going to the gym. All you need to do is- stretching Or Cool down exercises!

Being regular in itself is a task and most people fail at this stage but we can always TRY to be regular. Think about the body you want to work for and things will fall onto place.
