Being a 90's kid we have seen the evolution and growth of the technology in the field of communication and devices like no other generation. From bulky TV's to flat screen 45 -72 inch TV's and heavy duty Nokia phones to now FLIP samsung galaxy smartphone, we have come a long way.

Some of the things the will bring nostalgia are as follows-

1.Cassettes

In the 90’s the music that came were not on the websites or CD’s there were cassettes which used have a carbon plastic film rolled inside a case which when put in a cassette player played the song. I remember we had a cassette player which played two of them at a time and it was also incorporated with radio .

2. Floppy Disk

I remember exactly the day when i saw a floppy disk i asked my dad about it, ‘what is this?’ he told me ‘ this is where you can store a file and take it with you where ever you want and use again’. Though the it did not have a very large space like most of the SD cards and portable hard drive have, but still at that point it was equally exciting to see and use this.

3. First mobile phone

I think the first time i saw a phone that dad bought had rubber number input keys with a display of around 1.5 inch and a little antenna bar. The only feature it had at that time was you can save and read contacts and play a mini game for which me and my sibling used to fight.

4. Walkman

Walkman was the 90’s ipod. It was a cassette player where you can put any cassette and play the song on the go. It was very portable and light weight and easy to carry. I was not allowed to use it at first as it was a very dear to my dad, but i used sneak it out to see what is it and how did it work. It had a stop, rewind and play button on its top and battery slots on the back .

5. Video game console

I think i first played a video game in class 3 or 4, when there used to be console in which there was a slot in which you have to put the game chip and it showed the number of games it had on it. The chip i had had almost 25 games on it and used to play it after coming from school.

These are some of things i remember that I used to have on my childhood. Did you use any of these? Or do you have more suggestions of things that we use no more?

Tell me down in the comments ...
