Badla

So recently I watched BADLArecently starring Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, Tapsee Pannu and Amrita Singh. Amrita made a come back with this movie and we have to say "What a comeback!" . Terrifying performances and exciting plot makes badla a really good movie. This movie is an official remake of Spanish movie The Invisible Guests and very little changes have been made in the movie other than switching the genders of main actors. The movie is full of twist and turns and till the end it keeps you guessing.

The plot revolve around Naina (Taapsee Pannu)who is accused for the murder of Arjun (Tony Luke). Her lawyer Jimmy (Manav Kaul) hires the senior advocate Badal Gupta (Amitabh Bachchan) to help crack the case and defend Naina, but her confessions to Badal add twists and turns to the murder mystery. The main changes done in the movie except gender change in main players is the Mahabharata references in the movie.

After delivering Superhit movies like Kahaani and Kahaani 2 , BADLA is again a marvellous movie delivered by Director Sujoy Ghosh. The plot twist in the movie is so good and movie doesn't make you get bored at all. Till the end ,you want to know what's next. For Tapsee pannu and Amitabh Bachchan ,it's their second movie together after Pink but unlike Pink ,in this movie they Both are on opposite sides. Dialogues of the movie are super catchy and entertaining as well. Amrita Singh who has made a comeback with this movie ,has done exceptionally well . Her character is strong.A mother to a dead boy ,who wants to get the murderer punished,she plays her part perfectly. She finds out who has done the crime and in the whole movie you'll love her acting. Amitabh Bachchan,who is already known for his amazing acting and dialogue delivery nails the character of Badal Gupta, who has come to help Naina ( Tapsee) but ends up doing something totally different. As the drama unfolds ,our interest in the more increases.

The movie has been shot in foreign locations as the scenes demand and hence locations in the film are great . The editing, background and cinematography of the movie is also up to mark. Movie is not like typical Bollywood movies, it doesn't have any dance number or lot of songs but still people would love to watch it. All in all, BADLA is a movie that's a must watch as it's been a long time such a brilliant movie has released.
