Frog theory
Thisfrog theoryis just a demonstration that is used to illustrate how people might get themselves into terrible troubles....This is often used to illustrate how humans have to be careful to watch slowly changing trends in the environment, not just the sudden changes.

It's a warning to keep us paying attention not just too obvious threats but to more slowly developing ones. Here's the demonstration.......

If you drop a frog into boiling water, it immediately jumps out, but if you put a frog into a pot of water and start gradually heating the water.....

As the temperature of the water rises, the frog is able to adjust its body temperature accordingly. The frog keeps on adjusting with increase in temperature...

Just when the water is about to reach boiling point, the frog is not able to adjust any more...At that point the frog decides to jump out...The frog tries to jump but is unable to do so, because it has lost all its strength in adjusting with the rising water temperature...Very soon the frog dies.

Now the question is what killed the frog?
Many of us would say the boiling water... But the truth is what killed the frog was its own inability to decide when it had to jump out.

What is to be learned from frog theory?
You must develop your own early warning system, which warns you of changes and calls your attention to it. In the case of change, being forewarned is being forearmed. Be vigilant. Don't let unexpected change creep up on you. Don't become a "boiled frog". Pay close attention to what is going on around you, so that you can notice when the "water" is getting hot. In the modern whirlwind of change, don't wait until it is too late to act. Always be looking ahead. Don't allow yourself to become complacent(self satisfied). Don't become a boiled frog. Keep testing the water, so you can leap before you boil...
