Play Station: A Revolution Within Generations

Play Station or PS in short is a gaming console solely owned and managed by Sony Interactive Management a tech giant from Japan. Just like Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo it is just another gaming console except with a difference that it is much more better than its other counterparts.

After its first release in 1994(25 years ago) it hit the gaming market like bull’s eye soaring high in its popularity and sales. With its release it started a new era for gamers in terms of gaming experience. It totally redefined the definition of playing games both in terms of quality and experience. The legend was carried forward with the release of PS2 in the year 2000. The new PS with it’s realistic graphics and awesome sound effect soon became the new crush of the gamers all over the world. Six years after storming the market with it’s PS2, SONY was once again ready to give goosebumps to it’s competitors with the release PS3 in 2006. The PS3 didn’t let it’s predecessors down becoming the first member of the family to support high end videosand even Blu ray support. It also introduced wireless connection feature, enabling the gamers to connect with each other worldwide and compete with each other to show who is the real boss.

Adding another feather to the cap PS4, an eighth generation gaming console came out in 2013. Though it is the youngest member ofthe family but surpassed all others becoming the ultimate king in present gaming market. It’s high end graphics and visual quality accompanied with robust performance is what making every gamer to spend their hard earned cash worth for it. It is loaded with features upto it’s neck. With PS4 release SONY even finally out rivalled it’s main contender of gaming console war namely Microsoft’s Xbox One.

All we can say that if Play Station family is Expendables then PS4 is the Sylvester Stallone of that family(for the time being because we don't know what a monster PS5 maybe :P).

The gaming world surely have undergone a series of evolutions with the coming of gaming consoles of which Play Station series have played an important role without any doubt. Rumours are there that soon SONY is going to roll out it’s PS5 by 2020. As far my in my view PS5 is surely gonna blow the hell out of every gamer for sure setting even higher benchmark than its predecessors. Till then let’s wait and watch what SONY has really got up to it’s sleeves.
