Hina Khan's Debut At Cannes 2019

Cannes 2019, the prestigious gala began on May 14 and will go on till May 25.The stars have set the red carpet on fire with their chic looks and hypnotic personalities.

We often have seen faces such as Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Priyanka Chopra in Cannes as their occurrence in international fashion events is a common phenomenon,but television actress, Hina Khan made her debut as a fashionista (which she is)for the very first time which was just mesmerizing.

Hina Khan who is popularly known for her roles in 'Yeh rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' and 'Kasauti Zindagii Ki 2' had made her red carpet debut at Cannes 2019.

Hina Khan visited the festival to unveil the first look of her debut film called'Lines'. In the film the actress is paired opposite Rishi Bhutani.Hina is playing the character of 'Nazia' in the film.

The actress looked stunning in a pink pantsuit, a matching bow and sported hair curls.

First Red Carpet Look Of Hina-
She looked absolutely ravishing in a sparkly silver see-through floor length gown with plunging neckline. The outfit was designed by Ziad Nakad. She went for minimal make-up. Hina wore a natural pink shade of lipstick.

Hina’s Day 2 Look-

At her debut Bollywood film, 'Lines' poster launch, the actress donned green sleeveless dress designed by Syrian-born fashion designer Rami Al Ali.

On day 3, Hina wore a lavender dress with a huge black belt at the waistline.

Hina Shines In Sky Blue Dress On Day 4-
On day 4, Hina wore sky blue shirt and pants which had black printed lines and cut-out details. The actress also gave an interview to Anupama Chopra about her upcoming film.

Hina’s Second Red Carpet Look-
The actress walked the red carpet once again, and this time, she wore a dark silver metallic gown designed by Australian fashion house Alin Le' Kal The accessories were a minimal and she went for curls once again thereby adding the perfect touch to the overall look.

Apart from getting the praises from everywhere Hina khan was even mocked by Filmfare’s Editor, Jitesh Pillai who took to Instagram and posted a story, wherein he posted a picture of Hina, who was posing with a pout for the camera and wrote the words, “Cannes has suddenly become chandivali studios kya?" This post immediately created a havoc in the television industry and numerous tv stars started bashing Jitesh Pillai for his comment, many calling it derogatory.

After all this came Jitesh Pillai’s heartfelt apology to Hina Khan, which could be read as,“My apologies to Hina khan. My remark was meant to suggest that Cannes has become Bollywood centric, studios like Chandivali etc. are the very studios that I have spent my time as a rookie reporter.My sincere apologies to Hina again. I wish you continued success.

Hina shared pictures snapped with Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas and wrote a lengthy note in which she thanked Priyanka for inviting her to the party, acknowledging her presence and even called PC a walking inspiration.
