In today’s blog, I am going to give you information about the most magnificent buildings all around the world. Some of these iconic building and monuments would definitely make awestruck you.

Dancing House

Dancing house is located in the Czech Republic, Prague. It also goes by name Fred and Ginger. The construction of this building was completed in 1996. There are restaurants, a conference center, and 3000 sq. meters of office. The previous building which was standing before the dancing house was built, was destroyed due to bombing during world war II. During the velvet revolution, the Vaclav Havel who later became the first president of Czech Republic came with an idea of this building.

The Pyramids of Giza

The pyramids of Giza are located in Egypt.They are three pyramids are triangular. It has excellent geometrical alignment and what amazed me more in that have been built thousands of years back. It is the royal tomb build for Pharaoh Khufu. It is believed that the pyramid was an architect by the vizier (the highest official of Pharaoh). It was the tallest man-made structure of the world for 3,800 years until the Lincoln Cathedral was built.

Acropolis

Acropolis is located in Greece, Athens. It is an ancient citadel. It contains more than one ancient significant buildings. The word Acropolis means city. It is said that it was built in an age when the Greeks won a victory against Persian and introduced democracy.

The lotus temple

The lotus temple is located in India, Delhi. The temple is made of 27 free standing marble made petals. This unique temple has won several awards. This temple is unique since person belonging to any religion can visit the lotus temple. It is basically a place for the remembrance of God. Fariborz Sahba built this temple in 1986.

The Forbidden City

The Forbidden City is situated in China. It was built in Ming dynasty. It was an imperial place and a major political place once and now an ancient heritage that needs to be preserved.

Leaning Tower of Pisa

The leaning tower of Pisa is a bell tower which is situated in the Italian city, Pisa. The construction of this tower began in the 12th century and due to soft ground, while constructing the structure of the tower was already little. Until the 14th century, the tower became more tilt. Basically, the soft ground on one side couldn’t support the structure properly.
