There are thousands of cities, 195 countries and 7 continents in the world. There are so many different customs and traditions, language and even dressing all around the world. We have evolved so much and hence we have facts which are from the past, we have facts which is in the present and we will keep inventing new stuff. Basically, it is impossible to talk about all the cities and countries or seven continents in one blog. So I am going to give you some pretty cool facts about 1 city, 1 country and 1 continent whose name starts with A.

Abu Dhabi

-The name Abu Dhabi means the father of Gazelle. According to the ministry of culture also says that the city was named after a man who chased deer and he was called the father of dhibaa

-This place used to be very famous for exporting pearls all around the world once till 1930

-It has 200 islands

-The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque uses the largest hand-knotted carpet.

Aruba

Aruba is the kingdom of the Netherlands. Aruba is a home of one of the ‘island paradise’. It has the most exotic beaches in that I have given down below.

-there are over 300 pictographs of the prehistoric period have been discovered in Aruba.

-It is the homeland for all the scuba divers out there

-The white sand beaches keep the sand cool throughout the day. Therefore, you could take long barefooted walks whenever you want.

-You do not have to pay tax for gambling winnings. Literally, the best place for all the gamblers.

Antarctica

-The ice sheet of Antarctica is the largest single piece of mass in the world.

-99% of Antarctica is covered in ice.

-There are buried mountains in Antarctica.

-The driest place in the world is a dry valley in Antarctica

-There is also a lake hidden inside the ice sheet

-The continent remains in darkness throughout the winter.

-Same way in summers the sun does not set in Antarctica.

-There is a lake in Antarctica, which is so salty that it cannot freeze even at the lowest temperature.

-Though it is a very cold place, still it is a home for several plants and animals. Including penguin and seals.

-90% of earth’s ice is in Antarctica

-The word Antarctica means opposite to the north
