Does it happens with you that you feel very bad someday and you are in no mood to talk with anyone. You feel like spending time alone. It is a terrible feeling. But, then you think of watching a movie. But I should tell you that at this moment, choosing a right movie is very important.

People will agree with me that RomCom movies will act like best friends in these type of situations. If you had a breakup, watch a RomCom. It will cheer you up. This was just an example as most of the people feel bad because of this only. Right!

So here's a list of best 5 RomComs that you can binge watch if you are having a bad day.

1. NAMASTEY LONDON (2007)

This movie was a hit because of Akshay Kumar. He added his charm to the role. His comic timing is at best. And both Akshay and Katrina were good as a couple.

The movie was based on a true life story of Akshay Kumar's friend. This could be a reason of it's success. A Punjabi Munda Arjun married to an Indian-origin British Girl Jasmeet(Jazz) and the story goes to London where Jazz refuses to recognise their marriage. She wants to marry a British Guy Charlie Brown who insults the Indians in every way. Some incidents led to Jazz feeling special for Arjun. At the end, she runs away from her marriage to Charlie for Arjun and goes back to India.

The whole story was full of drama, comedy but more importantly was a lovestory. I think if it hadn't been Akshay, then the movie would not be a hit like it was.

2. AJAB PREM KI GAZAB KAHAANI (2009)

One of the best Romantic Comedies of Bollywood. The on-screen chemistry of Ranbir-Katrina was on fire as they won many hearts (also Ranbir won Best Actor Critics Award). It is definitely a mood lifter film as you are gonna roll out for laughing after watching this. All the actors including supporting ones made their presence felt as they walked in and out of the frames leaving behind fumes of old-fashioned funnies.

A beautiful love story of a boy named Prem who fell in love with a girl Jenny. There were many obstacles in their story which were humorously shown to the audience. The end was dedicated to love and for love which left an ever lasting impression on youth.

If you are feeling low, then watch this movie as it can do all the wonders to cheer you up.

3. WHAT IF (2013)

The original name of this movie was THE F WORD but it was changed in some countries due to some reasons. It was considered as one of the best RomCom by an editor of a national daily. That is why it won the Award for Best Adapted Screenplay at Canadian Screen Awards.

The story is based on T J Dawe and Michael Rinald's play TOOTHPASTE and CIGARS. It follows a pair of best friends who begin to have feelings for each other. It was definitely a crowd-pleaser as people moved on from seeing Daniel Radcliffe only as the world's favourite wizard. The young generation is gonna love this film as it is full of love and laughter.

Both Daniel and Zoe had a great chemistry and their hilarious dialogues were a complete package of entertainment. Must watch this for the bad mood!

4. THE BIG SICK (2017)

It is an American romantic comedy film based on the real-life romance between Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon. It follows an interethnic couple who must deal with cultural differences after Emily( role played by Zoe Kazan ) becomes ill.

Kumail meets Emily on his stand-up show. He starts feeling for her. Their relationship starts moving but their cultural backgrounds keep them restrained. Something or the other happens and at the end when Kumail performs at New York, he is heckled by someone in the crowd; he sees that it is Emily.

The film was both hilarious and heartbraking. The critics thought it as funny, heartfelt and intelligent. This got it the title of one of the 'top 10 films of the year'. And it was also nominated for The Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.

5. BAREILLY KI BARFI (2017)

It was one of the best movies of 2017. Most of us have watched it. If not, then go watch it as it will definitely cheer you up.

The trio of Ayushmaan Khurana, Kriti Sanon and Rajkumar Rao is the perfect blend for entertainment. The movie was both a commercial as well as critical success. It is based on a French named novel The Ingredients of Love written by Nicolas Barreau.

The movie gives us ample laughs throughout with the moments of crackling humour. And when Pankaj Tripathi and Rajkumar Rao are together, then the level of comedy rises. Rao is the one who steals the show with his chutzpah as said by one of the critics. The cast pulls the show with their acting and comic timing. It is a sweet, inoffensive romantic comedy that has won many hearts as well as many awards like the Best Director and Best Supporting Actor Role.

Still having a rough day. Just watch these movies which are full of love, laughter, emotions and drama. You are gonna feel happy. I can bet!
