I love movies! They take you to this fictional world, filling your eyes with all kinds of wonders. Add animations to the equation and the result you get is second to none.

I've grown up watching animated movies with my brother so it is safe to say, I am a sucker for them. Not only they stuff wonders in your eyes, but they also fill your heart with all kinds of right and positive emotions. I think animated movies are like sunrises. You know, how after a dark night, sunrise fills every corner with light. The same way, when you are tired and restless, animated movies make everything right.

If my words right now had a face, it would be of a kid in a candy shop because this is how excited I get about animated movies. So, take a seat and note down these movies that you have to watch at least once in a lifetime.

1. Finding Nemo

This is one of those movies that I've watched in both Hindi (which is my first language) and English. I am very attached to this one because this is probably my first animated movie. It's about a father fish and a son fish. The son goes missing in the ocean and the father travels all of the ocean and beyond to look for him. It is an emotional rollercoaster and at the end of the movie, you'll feel nothing but love towards your family. If you have watched it, a big high five to you. If you haven't, please please watch it. Also, one more request, if Hindi is your language too, make sure you watch it in Hindi as well.

2. The Lion King

Hakuna Matata! What a wonderful phrase, Hakuna Matata! Ain't no passing craze!
Oh, how much I love this song as well as this movie. It is again one of my childhood favorites. It'll also leave you feeling love for your family. It just hits the right chord in your heart. WARNING: If you decide to watch this movie anytime, which I highly recommend you do, don't forget to sit with a box of tissues because you'll be definitely going to need that. Well, at least if you're a little too emotional like me.

3. Frozen

Let it go! Let it go! Admit it, you just sang those words, didn't you? Well, I can't really blame you because it IS catchy. I am aware this is the third family movie I am suggesting in a row now but my list is incomplete without it. Honestly, I relate to this movie on a whole other level because I'd definitely freeze my heart for my sister. It is about two sisters. The elder sister, Elsa, has this special power or curse, as she likes to think of it and her younger sister, Anna, who is unaware of her powers, is the more daring one. When her sister goes rampage and leaves the kingdom, she wents on this mission to find her and bring her back. Again, an epic emotional rollercoaster and a must-watch.

4. Smurfs

How can I forget those little blue human-like creatures? It isn't the kind of movie that excites the adult and teen viewers nowadays but it has still got enough power to hook the younger audience and make them realize that everyone's unique in their own way. So, if you are set out on a journey to find yourself, I highly recommend you to watch this movie. It is very inspirational and insightful and it also makes you realize how important role your friends play in your life.

5) The Polar Express

Last on the list but not the least is The Polar Express. This one is my personal favorite and very close to my heart too. It is one of those Christmas watches and every time Christmas comes around, I grab my blanket and put on this movie. If you are one of those people who still believe in Santa, this one's for you. It'll make you realize how nice of a feeling it was to wait for Mr. Claus every year for a gift of your choice. It was an unmatched feeling or should I say, is an unmatched feeling.

Although there are many animated movies out there, these were all my favorites. Don't forget to let me know about yours in the comments below.

And if you think you've lost your inner child somewhere in this overwhelming and chaotic world, watch these animated movies because mark my words, they'll leave you with nothing but a feeling of calmness and happiness.
