I am sad for our generation. It's reality and its beliefs.
We think we have it all figured out,but the reality is we are struggling and now its starting to destroy us. 157 friends on our Facebook friend list and 28 close friends on Instagram, yet we are more lonelier than ever.

My thirteen year old cousin starves herself because she thinks she looks fat, her friend tells her no one like you if she's not skinny. So she takes a perfect Instagram worthy picture of my plate of food while munching on a salad to hide what you have got and pretend everything is effortless.( it is true that pain is beauty). So she learns to twerk instead of studying because no one will notice her. Her Tik Tok videos and followers are what defines her, because in the age of instant gratification, what is the need of civil conversation because a fb like and instagram double tap is the only stimulation.

So while you spend seventeen hours finding out the perfect reason of why they unfollowed you and groove within a swarm of strangers because it's FOMO when you miss the only happening party. A swin of alcohol and your tongue down a stranger throat and cocaine in your veins because YOLO,but hey apparently this party is LIT AF and this the MOOD.

Don't let the technology fool you, don't become so obsessed with internet and in displaying and curating a life that you forget to livein the reality. Your relationship doesn'tneed to be paraded online. We believe in nihilism because what's the purpose to live if you are eventually going to die.

We are the most unheard, misunderstood generation because hey ,we have the world at our tips instead of answering questions in yes or no, we are screaming YASS and BEING EXTRA .
