Don't let it become your lifeline...

You might be wondering and curious; eager to know the reason I used an oxymoron in the title itself.....

Well it is because that today's article is based upon the unsocial ambience and environment created by the growing use and over exploitation of social media apps in particular that has become an addiction to many , one that kills you slowly in the terms that it slowly eats away your time and before you realise it you are stuck in the rabbit hole forever....

However I do not intend on hurting any sentiments or in particular the use of social media applications as they can be quite useful as well but people are more inclined towards its over exploitation and ultimately leading to an addiction towards it ; Being obsessed with what goes on in the virtual social world rather than interacting with the individuals and understanding their emotions in the real world..

Social media as you know for example Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp and the list goes on......

Hell even I use them but there's a limit ; a clear boundary between its productive use and its use which ends up being an addiction.

Sinister uses

at times it even ends being used for stalking and cyber bullying purposes that further leads to heinous crimes, well if you're doubtful go look out in the news section there are various numerous cases reported per year and which are growing day by day

#even a person that is completely unknown to you can review of your profile and get to lot a know about you and even compromise or try to fake your identity which in a way is quite sacry

#phishing is also famous on social media platforms where people tend to give away easily the information while chatting with a completely unknown stranger home they might think they can trust with information but in fact in the reality they cannot will people need to be made aware about this but still people fall prey to such scams

#open fake advertisements are thrown on social media which attracts the attention of a large part of the audience who click on it and eventually and double using some part of their money just for buying a product that might not be up to its mark in the quality section

Fruitful uses

-It can be used to connect with older pals, quite surprisingly you might find even your childhood friends whom you were not in contact for a few years
-It can be used to spread social awareness messages, sense it it can easily spread the word to a larger audience it can be used to spread awareness at a rapid rate
-It can be used to spread genuine and correct emergency broadcast and news, since most of the people today who use internet are present on social media does emergency broadcast can be made easily and notified about to the people who use it

Well it's ultimate consequences depend upon the way you use it....

Stages of addiction

The stages of addiction in my opinion can be represented by the emojis themselves as ordered on any ordinary keyboard isn't that an irony.......

In a way social media are forcing us to increase our dependence on the virtual world rather than maintaining contact in the real world with the people around us which is the bad considering the fact that social media are made to help the people increase their friend circle which in fact ironically it is just limited to the virtual world which cannot be even fully trusted

And as the quote goes

Even the smartest buffalo can find himself following the herd off of the cliff, if he's not careful.

So it's up to you to decide the mark ,the boundary aka the limit upto which you reach in the scale of emojis as mentioned below..

😀😃😄😁😆😅😂🤣😭😗😙😚😘☺️😊😍🤩🤗🙂😉😉😋😛😝😜🤪🤔🤨🧐🙄😏😒😣😔😌☹️🙁😕😟😬🤐🤫🤭😰😨😧😦😯😮😲😳😓😞😫😵😵😱🤢🤮🤧😷🤒🤕😶😐😑😤🤯😠😡🤬😈👿

I repeat do not end being the Devil......
